SHAKESPEARE COMES TO BRICK
GUILD THEATREWORKS TO PRESENT SHAKESPEAREAN CLASSICS
On October 9th
at 7:00 PM at the Civic Center, 270 Chambers Bridge Road,The Guild Theatreworks will present a Shakespearean program, “A
Midsummer Night’s Dream”: Speeches and Sonnets of William Shakespeare along with relevant songs.
This year’s
program, produced by Bob Anstett with Ada Cole, and directed by Janet Lynn Spahr, features some of the Bard’s best known
speeches as well as some which are rarely done in performance.
This is a unique opportunity for people of all ages to
revisit or to experience for the first time one of the greatest playwrights in human history - a little bit of this, a little
bit of that, but it’s all the Bard - “a man not of an age, but for all time.”
There is no admission
fee, but reservations are necessary by calling 732-262-1006. Just leave your name and number of tickets needed. Your
call is your assured reservation. Reservation names will be ready at the door. No tickets will be mailed.
